Vickie Gene Back passed away peacefully at her home and went to her savior Jesus Christ on April 14, 2022. She was born in Oklahoma City at St. Anthony hospital on December 23rd, 1952 to John and Gloria Ann Pfeffer. She leaves her husband David, Sr. of 49 years of marriage; son David, Jr.; daughters Christie Johnston and Melissie Armstrong; mother Gloria Ann Pfeffer; sisters Sue Elliott and Debra Potash; brothers John (Sonny) Pfeffer and Frank Pfeffer; nine grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren, all of whom gave her great joy.
She retired from Wiggy’s Plumbing as Office Manager and dispatcher in 2013, and before her illness she enjoyed camping and fishing. She just loved watching that bobber on the water with a worm on the hook. She also had to watch the T.V. show Jeopardy every day (even reruns), and listening to the oldies on KOMA radio. Vickie was most happy when cooking, and when anyone came to her home she made sure you were fed with her delicious home cooking. She was such a proud grandmother, and always thought of others first before herself. Her deep love for her family and kindness will be missed by all who knew her. She is no longer in that body that gave her so many health issues, but is now with the Body of Christ.
