On Sunday, October 2, 2022, Tyler Don Carpenter, loving husband, father, and son, passed at the age of 31. Tyler was born on June 28, 1991 at Oklahoma University Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK to Tim and Tonya Carpenter. He grew up in Midwest City with his parents and brother, Travis Jacob Carpenter. Tyler enjoyed attending CrossOver Church growing up, where he was saved and baptized and was active with his youth group.
During his high school years, he loved driving around town in his Nova and playing baseball for Midwest City High School. He married his wife, Karis Carpenter, on April 14, 2017 and began their life in Moore Oklahoma where they continued to live with their children.
Tyler started working in the oilfield for Schlumberger before moving to National Oil Varco as a field technician. He recently started as an Aircraft Mechanic at Tinker Air Force Base.
Fishing was his favorite hobby but other hobbies included golfing, hunting, cooking, and spending time with his family. He also looked forward to attending church at Life Church with his wife and children. Tyler was a very devoted father to Colt, Viviann, and Ella.
Tyler is survived by his wife Karis Carpenter of Moore, OK; three children, Colt Don Carpenter, age 9, of Washington, OK, Viviann Blayke Carpenter, 4, of Moore, OK, and Ella Jade Carpenter, 1, of Moore, OK; parents Tim and Tonya Carpenter of Midwest City, OK; brother Travis Jacob Carpenter of Midwest City, OK; and a host of other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lester Grubbs of Shawnee, OK, and Harold & Eloise Carpenter of Del City, OK; aunt Sheila Hill and uncle Tim Grubbs of Midwest City, OK.
The family would like to thank CrossOver Church for hosting Tyler's memorial service, and to all the many friends and family for their support during this difficult time.

A funeral service for Tyler will be held Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 10:00 AM with catered reception to follow at CrossOver Church, 3000 N. Santa Fe Ave., Moore, OK 73160. Following the catered reception at the church, interment is taking place at Carney Cemetery in Carney, OK.
