Thomas was born to Francis “Frank” Mack and Shirle Lee (Embree) at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma. His parents and younger brother, Michael P. Mack, predeceased him as did his loving pets Blaze, Fatty and Kiki.
Thomas attended parochial schools, including Mount Saint Mary’s, but eventually graduated from Del City High School in 1981. He worked in custom home sales and home remodeling. Thomas was a member of the 95th Division Association and volunteered countless hours rebuilding their Memorial Museum at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma in 2013-2014.
He married Jennifer Cotten on January 26, 2013, and became another proud father to Whitney Cotten. A friend described Thomas as the perfect mate for Jennifer because he empowered her to devote countless hours to her military career and organizations. Thomas made friends with everyone he met. He saw it as his duty to lift up people and animals.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer and daughter Whitney Cotten; brother, John P. Mack and wife, Kimberly; nephews, Matthew Mack and John Patrick Mack, Jr.; and cherished pets, Davis and Suki.
