Stanley Spence

Stanley J. Clark Spence died Saturday, February 25, 2012 in Fort Smith, AR. He was born in Emory, TX, May 7, 1921 to Willie Jasper and Effie Gertrude Spence. Stanley served in the US Navy during WWII and was an active member of the VFW. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings: Joe Raymond and John Spence, Grace Barker, Hallie Burleson and Rachel Adair; son, Jaye Spence; and great grandchild, Mesael Banda, Jr. Survivors include his children: Stanley, Jerry and Kenneth Spence, Mary Sisco and Debbie Richardson; sister, Barbara Spence; grandchildren: Jeffrey, JJ, Andrea, Emma, Jessica, and Scott Spence; Ladonna Gooden; Virginia Kieser; Marilyn Taylor; Crystal Hoke; Cody Carter; Tiffany Dollar; Kourtney Sisco; and Jacob, Daniel, Rebecca and Jeremiah Cute; great grandchildren: Crystal Messick; Brandon, Alex, and Elizabeth Kieser; Darren and Devon Taylor; Kristina Gardner; Conner Hoggat; Ashley Hoke; Santos, Ashley, and Hunter Spence; Dalton and Addyson Dollar; Nevaeh, Haileigh and Blake Cute; Elijah Gouge Christiana Gunville; and three great great grandchildren. Stanley’s funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at the Sunny Lane Chapel with interment following at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Oklahoma City.
