Robert Ray Trammell

Robert R. Trammell was born December 31, 1941 in Cyril, Oklahoma to A.D. and Kathryn (Smith) Trammell. Robert joined the United States Air Force January 23, 1961 and was honorably discharged August 17, 1965. He retired as a wood craftsman from Tinker Air Force Base. Robert loved the Lord and his personal prayer time and enjoyed listening to his Christian CDs. He also enjoyed woodworking, family time, and gardening. Preceding him in death are his parents, one brother Jerry Trammell, one sister Mary Parr, and one grandson Carlton Trammell. He is survived by two sons, Robert R. Trammell, Jr., and James J. Trammell (Elizabeth) both from Purcell, Oklahoma; one daughter Tresa Sanders (David) from Norman, Oklahoma; one step-daughter Maribel Rodriquez from Apple Valley, California; 12 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren. Also surviving him are one brother Alvis Trammell (Roberta) from Noble, Oklahoma; two sisters Minnie Morrow (Bill), Mustang, Oklahoma and Doralene Jones (Eddie), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday July 6, 2011 at Skyridge Freewill Baptist Church, 150 S. 48th Ave., Noble, OK. Interment will be at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday July 6, 2011 at Cement Cemetery, Cement, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, Del City, Oklahoma.
