Robbie R. Wilkinson

Robbie Raye Wilkinson, age 76, of Choctaw, Oklahoma passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2023. Robbie was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on January 7, 1947 to Henry Emmett Haacks and Reba Louise (Valentine) Haacks. Robbie graduated Capitol Hill High School in 1965, she also received some college credit before she began her work at Tinker Air Force base in 1981. Robbie worked at Tinker Air Force Base as a Federal Employee for 25 years where she retired in 2006. Robbie was an active member of Countryside Baptist Church as well as the Oklahoma Retired Citizens Travel Club. Robbie enjoyed taking walks, taking tai chi classes, and playing bingo. She was a huge fan of The Beach Boys and Kenny Rogers. She also really enjoyed astronomy and followed the U.S. Space Program. One of Robbie’s greatest moments in life was her 44th wedding anniversary with her Husband, William C. Wilkinson. . After her Husband passed away in 2014, Robbie adopted and lived by the motto “Live, Laugh and Love”. Robbie is survived by her son, William C. Wilkinson Jr. of Choctaw, OK; brother-in-law, Tom Wilkinson; sister-in-law, Margaret Wilkinson; close family friends Connie and Allen Cantwell of Moore, OK; close friends Fred and Connie Kilgo of Tampa, FL. A visitation for Robbie will be held Wednesday, March 8, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Sunny Lane Funeral Home, 4000 Se 29th Street, Del City, OK 73115. A funeral service will be held Thursday, March 9, 2023 from 2:00 PM at Sunny Lane Funeral Home with Internment to follow.
