Patsy Carol Jones was born on December 25, 1933 after 6:00pm to Arthur and Irene Higgins in Decatur, IL. She passed away on October 2, 2023 at 89 years of age.
In the early days, Patsy was a Water Safety Instructor and a Girl Scout Troop Leader where she helped develop young girls into young ladies. Patsy loved breeding dogs and devoted a lot of her time to caring for and training them. She bred Labrador Retrievers with the puppies going on to become successful show, hunting, and field trial champions as well as drug, search and rescue, cadaver dogs, and service dogs.
Patsy worked for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Tinker Air Force Base as a Contracting Officer. She retired from FAA after a total of 20 years between the two.
Patsy is survived by her daughter, Sarah Kristine Jones Harper Streets and her son, Robert Patrick Earl Jones. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Patrick Alan Harper, Brandi Jones Long, and Zach Jones.
