Mollie A. Jones

Mollie A. Jones was born on February 6, 1943 in OKC, OK to Anna Mae Michaels and Horace Utah Lunn. She grew up in Del City, OK and was raised by her mom and her “dad” David Michaels. She met and eventually married Frankie Jones on June 17, 1960 in Del City, OK. She was an Air Force wife who was proud to support her husband. Mollie and Frankie spent several years stationed at Altus AFB where they raised their three children. Mollie was an active member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha until her health prevented her from participating anymore. While stationed in Altus, Mollie achieved her GED while working full time and raising her three children. She loved spending time with her family and her BFF Nancy Derusha, as well as collecting her teddy bears.

Mollie is preceded in death by her parents David and Anna Michaels, father Horace Utah Lunn and her brother Billy Lunn.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Frankie L. Jones of Harrah, OK; three children: son, David L. Jones and wife Susan of Del City, OK; son Michael O. Jones and wife Michelle of Broken Arrow, OK; and daughter, Lisann V. Bennett and husband William of Harrah, OK; six grandchildren: Melody Cochran, Amber Jones, Samantha Jones, William Jones, Danielle Jones, and Grant Jones; three great-grandchildren: Gage, Harmony, and Hope; as well as many other family members and friends.
