Milton Brandon, Jr. of Midwest City, OK, went HOME to JESUS on September 7, 2017. He was born to the late Milton and Evalina Brandon in Pierce, OK, May 19, 1934, one brother and three sisters. He married his high school sweetie, Ada Louise Brandon in 1952, over 65 years ago. Milton was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He loved spoiling his two daughters, but loved even more spoiling his six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Milton enjoyed teaching and serving in the church for years. He taught his family to love JESUS and modeled serving. He worked for Oklahoma Farm Bureau for twenty-seven years, eventually serving as their Executive Vice President and retiring in 1994. Needing to stay busy, Milton then went to work for local funeral homes. He loved serving the families.
Milton never met a stranger. He loved children, teasing people and helping others. He enjoyed woodworking projects after he retired and made 100s of “JESUS” plaques which he loved giving away. Milton is survived by his wife, Louise Brandon; daughters, Sandy Farnham (married to the late, Mike Farnham), Cindy Kopp (married to Robert Kopp), six grandchildren, Tiffany Webb, Kimberly Jones, Matthew Farnham, Tracy Johnson, Allison Kopp, Brian Kopp and ten great-grandchildren. His siblings: Betty Utley, Nanna Lee Goines, Carl Brandon, and Barbara Smithson.
A viewing will be held Sunday, September 10, 2017 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, address. The Celebration of Life service will be Monday, September 11, 2017 at 11:00am at Meadowood Baptist Church in Midwest City, OK. Internment at Arlington Memorial Gardens.
