Michael D. Ramsey

Michael Dean Ramsey, age 76, of McLoud, Oklahoma passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2022. He was born on June 26, 1946 to Henry and Ruth (White) Ramsey. He was a proud hard working man as he was a crane operator for many years with the local Union 627, and worked out of town a lot only coming home on the weekends most of the time. Over the last few years, Michael's COPD made it much more difficult for him to breathe and perform any daily routines or tasks, so he spent most of his time at home with his wife Pat and family.

Michael loved playing on his computer, growing his gardens on his Farmville or Farmtown, pretty much since his retirement some years ago. Michael also loved his family very very much and made sure that each and every one of them had everything they needed and never went hungry. Mike and Pat spent their retired days visiting family, taking cruises and little trips here and there. He really enjoyed his family time, though, and was always glad for the family to be together and go out to eat for birthdays and other occasions (or no occasions at all). He will be missed and loved deeply by all for the rest of our times. We love you Dad!!

He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Euline Ramsey; brother Leroy Ramsey; sister Cindy Ramsey Beal; nephew Taunus Beal; and other relatives.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Ramsey; daughter Laura Ramsey of McLoud; son Brian Ramsey (spouse Sherri) of Newcastle; one grandson, Garrett Ramsey; and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation for Mike will be held from 9-10am and 11am-2pm Friday, Dec. 9, 2022 at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, with his funeral service in the chapel from 10-11am.
