Matilde Sanchez

Matilde (Tilde’) R. Sanchez age 86, from Seguin, Texas residing in Midwest City, Oklahoma for the last 13 years, peacefully passed away on Sunday the 20th of March 2022 while being attended by very caring nurses and staff with the South Park East living center in Oklahoma City. Matilde was born in Creedmoor, Texas to the late Carmel and Enrique Rodriguez. Matilde resided at the Autumn House Senior Living Center in Midwest City during her tenure as a resident of Midwest City. Matilde enjoyed bingo, dancing, outings with family, traveling to visit family and friends, and being a devoted catholic. Matilde was blessed with a very large and loving family. Those left to cherish the memory of Matilde are Nasario Sanchez, SR, of Seguin, TX.; son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Dolly Sanchez of Midwest City, OK.; daughter and son-in law, Irene and Tony Guerra of Seguin, TX.; daughter and son-in-law, Emma and Christopher Green of Midwest City, OK., daughter Diane Sanchez of Seguin, TX; brother and sister-in-law, Mauricio and Linda Zuniga of Kyle, TX.; sister, Vicki Elizalda of Hunting Beach, CA.; sister, Juanita Arias of El Mirage, AZ.; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Javier Escobar of Round Rock, TX. She is preceded in death by her brother, Marcelo Rodriguez; Genoveva Rodriguez (her beloved Tia), sister, Minnie Gonzales; sons, Rudy and Nasario Sanchez, JR. Matilde leaves behind numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as many other loving relatives and friends. The family would like to thank again all the staffing of South Park East of Oklahoma City who provided our mother with the utmost attentiveness and loving care. In addition to, a warm appreciation to the caring professionals of Traditions Health.

Funeral arrangements are being coordinated by, Palmer Mortuary and Cremations of Seguin, TX for celebration of life, and Our Lady of Guadalupe of Seguin, TX for religious ceremonies. The family lovingly welcomes all to join in these celebrations.
