Mary Ruth Dawson of Del City, Oklahoma passed away on August 11, 2021 at the age 78. She was born December 05, 1942 in Shidler, OK to Paul and Lola Nail. Mary graduated from Shidler High School. She worked at Statistical Computing Services in Oklahoma City for many years then began a career with Weokie Credit Union where she worked for 20+ years. She married HB Dawson, April 9th, 1987.
Mary is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and sister, Ina Connelly, and nephew Larry Connelly.
Mary is survived by her daughter Susan and husband Mike Sutton. Grandchildren Clayton Sutton and wife Chelsea, Courtney Parsons and husband Tyler, and Colton Sutton, and three great-grandchildren; Chandler Sutton, Allie Parsons, and Brody Parsons.
Mary Ruth Dawson was a caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. She loved spending time with family. She also loved to crochet and make quilts for family and friends, especially for all the new babies.
