Marie enjoyed embroidery, cross stitching, ceramics, painting, crafting, working around her yard and tending to her cockscomb flowers. She made the best sugar cookies and looked forward to her “girl’s night out”. Marie loved her family dearly and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of 40 years, Emmett Martin; sons, Emmett Stanley Martin and Randall Lee Martin; sisters, Peggy Casale, Isabelle Serra; and brother, Dan Hawco. Survivors include her children, Shirley Collins and husband, Charlie, and Jimmy Martin; sisters, Pat Vanyo, Alice Hickmott; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 17, 2015 at the Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel. Interment will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens.
