John Ellesworth Evenson, 82, passed away August 11, 2021, at his home. He was born September 12, 1938, in Willmar, MN to Herman and Anne Evenson.

John retired from the U.S. Air Force and from TAFB. He enjoyed “trying” to play golf. He especially enjoyed church. He was the oldest living member of Connect Church and had been a member for 63 years.

He is survived by his children; Cherri and husband Jerry Carr, Meta and husband Carl Kaup, Jack and wife Christie Evenson, Lee and wife Diana Evenson, eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

John was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Charlotte Ann, one brother and two sisters.

Funeral service will be held Wed. Aug. 18, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. at Connect Church. Burial will follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
