Joe D. Holloway

Joe Dean Holloway of Midwest City, OK entered Heaven's gates June 6, 2013. He was born November 9, 1929 in Asher, OK to George and Ethel (Mosley) Holloway. He graduated in 1948 from Ashland High School. Joe was active in his church and loved being with his family. He was retired from Tinker Air Force Base as an aircraft mechanic for over 30 years. Joe is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Dolores Holloway; son, Tim Holloway and wife, Kathleen; daughter, Karri Wilson and husband, Steve; brother, George Holloway and wife, Lyndall; brother, Jerry Holloway and wife, Janette; brother, Rick Holloway; and sister, Peggy Lee and husband, Paul. He is also survived by his three adoring grandchildren, Timothy "Easton" Holloway, Pryce Jakob Holloway and Channing Eliza Holloway. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Bobbie Stone and brother, Carrel Holloway. Viewing will be Sunday, June 9, 2013 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Sunny Lane Funeral Home, 4000 SE 29th, Del City, OK. Family will be present from 2-4 p.m. Services will be held Monday, June 10, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Midwest City Community Church of the Nazarene, 10200 SE 15th, Midwest City, OK with graveside services to be held at Pryor Cemetery in Stuart, OK. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Joe to MWC Community Church of the Nazarene (address listed above).
