As the days have passed I find myself wanting to go see u or pick up the phone and call. I treasure our time together. I know that u are watching over me and I promise to make you proud. Love you pa nite nite and kiss kiss

Jasper Roper was a fine man,  on Earth and now in Heaven.  We were all blessed to have crossed paths with him.  He left a happiness in your heart that you could always share with others. How wonderful that Mr. Roper touched so many lives in such a positive manner.  We will all miss him.  Much love to you and your family, Ken.

His life was obviously a blessing to his family and friends and know he will be remembered with love.

Rest well, dad. You worked hard all your life, always giving freely to others. You are a wonderful example of what a real man should be to his family and to the world. We love you and we look forward to a grand reunion one day with you, mom, David, and all our other loved ones who have gone across the divide.

Uncle Jasper was a great man.  My husband and I have been married 19 years and he was a great man when we would visit him he was always happy.
we will miss him greatly.  Donnie, Kenny & Nancy we love you guys and hope God will be with you through his
death.

Grandpa you are my hero. The best man I've ever known. I love you with all my heart.

I will miss you Uncle Jasper! He was the kindiest man I've ever known. He alway had a kind word and a warm smile. I have wonderful memories I will alway cherish! Now he is back with Aunt Inez he is a "whole"again!  His love will be with us forever, of that I have no doubt.

I have known Mr. Roper for over 39 years,  He was always a giver in life, It didn't matter what time of the night,  He was there to do what he could to help those in need, All of his neighbors knew he was someone they could depend on for a hand and he never would take any money for his help,   I remember he was not one to sit around very much,  he was a doer,  from sunup till sundown,  there was always something to do to keep him busy on his acreage.  One of my favorite memories of him and Mrs. Roper was when Mr. Roper would be working the garden and she would always be out there to bring him a qt of water to make sure he stayed hydrated, she did worry about him alot but it was only because she loved him so,  there was so much love there and it was nice to see that in an older couple,  i was just a teenager at the time so it wasn't something i seen often.  Finally when he would come in for the night,  he would sit in his recliner and take out his knife and start widdling on  a piece of wood and sit and talk to the family as we all would watch t.v.  He would do this every night,  He was a wonderful man and He lived his life as a servant to those around him,  although i know that he is missed,  just knowing that he is with his wife Inez and with our Lord makes his passing bearable. This is your time to rest Mr. Roper,  Your journey is completed and you will be given a new body that will forever live in the presence of God.    Until we see you again, love always,  Leslie
