James C. Stump Jr., affectionately known as Jim, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2025 at the age of 82. A proud veteran, Jim served four years in the United Air Force. He also dedicated over 30 years of civil service at Tinker Air Force Base. His esteemed career culminated in his role as a program manager on the B2 bomber, where his expertise and leadership shone brightly.
Jim was known for his vibrant personality and his ability to light up any room he entered. He never met a stranger and was always the life of the party, bringing joy and laughter to those around him. His love for music was evident in his passion for karaoke, where he would often entertain friends and family as his alter ego, "Jake".
Jim is survived by his three children, two grandchildren, and one great grandson. He also leaves behind one sister, three nieces, and their children, all of whom he loved dearly.
Jim will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
