James M. Mayes

James M. Mayes passed away on March 17, 2020. He was born in Marietta, OK to Charles and Ola Mayes. He grew up with 3 siblings. Jim loved to fish, and loved going to church. He was a Deacon at Crest Baptist Church in Midwest City. There was not a person that he didn’t like, and he never met a stranger. He will be greatly missed.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Nancy; grandson, John Mayes; and 3 siblings. He is survived by his son, Jim; step-children, Terry Cannon and Jackie Price; 5 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and other family and friends.

The family would like to thank Bellevue Health and Rehab Center and Sooner Care Hospice for their help and compassion. They would also like to thank Francine Davis, who allowed them to keep their dad at home, and helped to take care of him for 3 years.
