Jack Andrew Doolittle passed away Thursday, July 6 in Ardmore, OK.
Born in El Paso, TX, he was raised in Haileyville, OK graduating in 1960. He attended Eastern Oklahoma State College and East Central State College and joined the military, retiring as a Senior Master Sargent from the Air Force after 26 years of service. He then worked as a Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Counsellor. He was a long-time member of the Del City church of Christ where he taught the Goodtimers Class and helped deliver Meals on Wheels.
Mr. Doolittle married Delores Dianne Collins October 3, 1969 who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Juanita McCutcheon. Survivors include two sons, Darin Allen Doolittle and wife Roxanne of North Myrtle Beach, SC and Paul Edward Doolittle of Oklahoma City and grandchildren, Darin Doolittle, Jr, Dylan Doolittle, and Kirsten Doolittle of North Myrtle Beach, SC, Brock Doolittle of Hutchinson, KS and Jade Kuntz of Midwest City, OK. Also surviving, brother, Jimmy Doolittle and wife Stephanie of Oklahoma City, sister, Treva Lalli and husband, Tony of Marietta, Oklahoma, brother, Albert McCutcheon and wife Mary of Oklahoma City.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. and a funeral service on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at Eisenhour Funeral Home SE, 5005 SE 29th, Del City, OK.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in his name.
