Gloria Jean Waggoner

Jean is survived by her daughters, Sharon Kay Burkhart and husband Mike, Jane Ann Shears and husband Bob; grandchildren, Jon Burkhart and wife Sandy, Heather McCarty and husband Jason, Scott Burkhart and wife Carrie; and great-grandchildren, Tim, Hailey, Liam, Jordan, Lauren and Jack. Jean was a dedicated step-mother to Trent and Tyler Minto and Wendy, Tammy, Terri and Jimmy Waggoner. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Hardin in 1959; and second husband James Waggoner; sister, Peggy Durham.

Jean was a loving mother, grandmother and a dedicated member of Sunnylane United Methodist Church, a devoted animal loved and cunning card player who loved traveling, fishing and long walks with her dog. She brightened many persons day during her stay at Sienna Nursing Home where the care by the staff was greatly appreciated. The family also would like to thank Crossroads Hospice and Celina Lawson for their loving care towards mom.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at the Sunnylane United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens. Condolences may be offered at www.eisenhourfuneral.com.
