He is survived by his wife Ella Joan Nunn; children Regina Dawn (Charles) Towne of Prosper, Texas, and Gregory Don Nunn of Florida; his grandchildren Tiffany and Aaron Town, Jonathan, David and Brooklyne Nunn and Victoria Hodgin; six great-grandchildren; his sister Barbara (Curtis) Owens and brother Phillip (Louise) Nunn; his aunt Margie Pendley and nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents Bruce and Gladys Nunn.
Don grew up as a hard working farm boy where he learned many practical skills which served him well during his lifetime. He graduated from Anadarko High School in 1958. He then attended some college at Cameron College in Lawton, Oklahoma. He retired from Tinker AFB in 1995 after serving 34 years.
He married Ella Joan Crawford on 14 November 1975. They spent 46 years together and helped each other through life's peaks and valleys.
Don loved to garden, hunt, fish and woodworking. He was a great storyteller and loved to talk. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he served faithfully.
