Darlene Joyce Puckett (nee Hicks), cherished wife, mother, nana, sister, & aunt passed from this life on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at the age of 88. She was born December 8, 1934, in Moore, OK. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 66 years, Charles, her son Charles Jr., and her parents, Lloyd and Martha Hicks. She was the youngest of 7 children and is survived by her daughter Bunny and husband Phil, son Gary and wife Deborah, grandchildren Nicholas and Melissa Farley, Travis, Meghan, Michael, Brandon, and Austin Puckett, Christy and husband Keaton Mills, and great granddaughters Savannah and Janie, as well as numerous other family. Darlene was a devout Christian, brave, generous, and tender-hearted. She was known as the family historian because of her encyclopedic memory for names and dates. She adored game shows and her family was everything to her. Her sudden loss has left her family bereft, but they take comfort in her loving legacy.
