Clara Belle Blankenship

Clara B. Blankenship, 81, walked through heaven’s gate September 29, 2017. She was born in Dustin, Oklahoma, August 28, 1936. Clara spent most of her life being a loving and caring housewife and mother. She also worked for Sooner Box Company in Oklahoma City, Dr. Wright in southwest Oklahoma City, and a medical insurance company in Oklahoma City.

Clara was preceded in death by her loving husband, William (Bill) B. Blankenship, of Del City, Oklahoma, on February 19, 2014. Clara and Bill were married February 23, 1954. She was also preceded in death by her daughter Pamela Kobosky of Edmond, Oklahoma.

Clara is survived by her daughters Karen Schaub of Oklahoma City, Sharon Jones of Chickasha, and son William A. Blankenship of Del City. Clara had 5 very loved grandsons, Gary Wayne, John, David Lee, Brian, and Chris; four great-granddaughters Kiry, Pamela, Emma, and Emily; and four great-grandson’s David Lloyd, Nathan, Ryan, and Tyran. Clara had eight sisters and brothers, only Sara Lou, Marie, Raymond, and Billy have survived; deceased are Flora, Ernie, Henry, and James. There are many extended beloved family members.
