Charles Russell Shepherd went to be with his Lord on February 25, 2013. He was a wonderful loving husband and father. He will be remembered as a family man with noble character, a hard working man and a friend to many. Charles was born on January 29, 1942 in Chester, Arkansas. Son to Jewell Rebecca Burgette and Albert Doyle Shepherd. He married Susan Marie Higgins on August 3, 1963.
Their four daughters are: Karen Chambers, Lorie Musgrave, Malissa Hall, and Jennifer Solnick. Charles had 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Susan, mother Jewell, father Albert, step-father James Moore, sister Sue, and brothers Michael, Albert, and Bill.
Visitation will begin 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Bill Eisenhour Southeast, Del City, Oklahoma. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 4, 2013 at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel, with interment at Sunny Lane Cemetery, Del City, Oklahoma.
