Charles Ray Mowery Sr.

Charles was a Crooked Oak High School graduate, and later proudly serve his country for 24 years in the United States Air Force. During his time in the military he was a guidance and control specialist, working primarily on rockets. He was fond of traveling, fishing, and spending time with his family. Charles was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Jerry Mowery. Survivors include his loving wife, Tresha Inez Mowery; children, Charles R. Mowery, Jr. (Raymola), Christel Cowan, Beatrice Hite (Greg), John Mowery (Christy); 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; siblings, Bernard Mowery (Harriet), Alice Burnworth (Jim), Darlene Morgan; and sister-in-law, Judith Mowery.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at the Emmanuel Baptist Church. Full military honors will follow at the Sunny Lane Cemetery Condolences may be offered at www.eisenhourfuneral.com
