Carroll W. Bell, 76, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2025. Born on April 28, 1948, in Red Oak, Oklahoma, to Thomas Bell and Ethel A. Knight Bell, Carroll lived a life marked by service, hard work, and deep love for his family and country.
He proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, earning numerous honors, including the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal with 60 Device, Sharpshooter (Rifle M-14) Medal, and two overseas service bars. Carroll was deeply proud of his military service and carried that sense of honor and patriotism throughout his life.
Following his service, Carroll worked for 26 years at the Oklahoma City General Motors Plant, where he formed lasting friendships and retired after a successful career. In retirement, he found joy in the simple pleasures of life-camping, fishing, bowling, and playing video games. He had a quick wit, a big heart, and a quiet strength that touched all who knew him.
Carroll is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Terri S. Bell; his children, Libby Cox, Wesley Bell and wife Linleigh, and Micha Andrews and husband Tim. He is also survived by his brother Randy Bell and wife Cheryl, sister Barbara Newark and husband Robert, as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
