Carolyn was born Oct. 16, 1941 in OKC, OK to Evan and Ruby Beuchaw . She graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1960.
Carolyn is survived by her two beautiful daughters Susan and husband Darrell Sorrells, Sherry and husband Kevin Leeper, seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
On March 19, 1960, Carolyn married Bud Wright, the love of her life for 45 years.
Carolyn worked for Western Electric/Lucent Technology for over 30 years.
She was very talented and had a strong interest in etching, stained glass, quilting, and baking from scratch. Everyone loved her fudge, carrot cake and chocolate sheet cake.
Carolyn had the opportunity to travel, if it wasn’t on a big ship with a friend, it was hitting the hills of Missouri and Arkansas, sharing quality time and making unforgettable memories with family and friends.
She was very spiritual and loving with a gentle warm soul and when needed to be was a lioness.
Carolyn loved her family and friends always put them above herself. She was a rock to so many. She touched us all by her grace, compassion, strength, courage and her love for God, but most of all she touched us with her soul.
