Carolyn Sue Johnson

Carolyn was born July 18, 1945 in McAlester Oklahoma, the daughter of John and Ruby Maynor. Carolyn retired after a lengthy career of civil service at Tinker Air Force Base. Although Carolyn was successful at every position she held, none brought her as much satisfaction and joy as that of a Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 51 years, Herbert I Johnson Jr. She is survived and greatly missed by her loving family: mother Ruby Maynor (91) of McAlester, OK, sister Rhonda Speer of Sugarland TX, son Brent Johnson and spouse Beth of San Antonio TX, Shauna Johnson-Masters and spouse Christopher of Choctaw, Marissa Mangrum and spouse James of Choctaw, 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many other extended family members. Visitation will be held from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, November 14, 2015.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 15, 2015 at the Bill Eisenhour Southeast Funeral Home, 5005 SE 29th St, Del City OK, 73115. Interment will be held on Monday, November 16, 2015 at the Fort Smith National Cemetery in Fort Smith, AR. Condolences may be offered at www.eisenhourfuneral.com
