Bonnie, affectionately known to all as Bunny, was born on March 31, 1931 to Rufus Baxter and Thelma Viola Williams. She was the 7th of 9 children. Bunny was preceded in death by her parents and siblings except for her youngest sister Judy, to whom she remained close until her final breath.
Bonnie was a lifelong member of General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn. She was baptized into the faith at the age of 16.
Bunny married the love of her life, Roy T Myers (Tommy) on August 1, 1949. They were married for 62 years until Dad passed in 2011. Together they had 4 kids, 7 grandkids and 13 great grandkids.
Bunny and Dad opened Los Tacos in 1972. Bunny continued to work and make her famous taco sauce until 2020 when she was 89.
Bunny was the epitome of unconditional love. Her home was a safe place where everyone was welcome. You could always count on seeing her kids, grandkids and great grandkids and all of their friends at “Bunny & Dads house.”
Bunny is survived by her children Jerri Brooks and Johni, Karen Whittington and David, Joanna Myers, Rayme Myers and Andrea. Her grandkids Ryan Myers and Jennifer, Kryston Sloan and Willie, Zak Lindahl and Stephanie, River Myers and Madi, Kyra Teel and Caleb, Rainey Myers and Jeff, Danay Dixon and Brandon. Great Grandkids Jakob, Raven, Tristan, Lyric, Harmony, Wyatt, Rayce, Rosie, Rhythm, Rio, Collins, Elanor, and Ozzie.
Bunny had many more family and friends. All loved her. To most she was a bonus mom or grandma. All have shattered hearts since she left.
