Bond Lee Chumney

He was born on May 21, 1937, to Joe Lee Chumney and Florence Carter Chumney in Medina, Tennessee.

He worked in communications and served his country over 20 years in the United States Air Force, and retired in Midwest City, OK, in 1980.

Bond loved God and read the Bible daily. He will be remembered for loving his family, his giving spirit, and his sense of humor.

Bond is survived by his wife, Manuela Chumney; children, Marilyn Savage and her husband, Rick Savage, Wendell Chumney, Walter Chumney and his wife, Lisa Chumney, Jennifer Anchecta and her husband, Juan Anchecta, David Chumney and his wife, Regina Chumney; grandchildren, Joanna Paetz, Alexis Chumney, Alyssa Chumney, Samantha Chumney, Sebastian Beal, and Solomon Chumney; great-grandchildren, Lily Paetz and Chrystal Murway; brother, Paul Chumney; sister, Valery Salls; and also his Pomeranian, Rusty; and his cat, Lilly.

A graveside service for Bond will be held Friday, April 11, 2025, at 10:00 am at Sunny Lane Cemetery, 4000 SE 29th St., Del City, OK.
