Billy D. Keys

Billy Dewayne Keys, age 91, of Del City, Oklahoma passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2023. He was born on May 27, 1932 in Okemah, OK to Clifford and Virgie (Ledue) Keys. After graduating high school, Billy enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1953 and served for 14 years. He worked on electronics and repair radar for B-52's, and taught electronics at the Air Force Academy in Colorado. He retired in 1987 from Tinker Air Force Base.

Billy enjoyed country music, riding motorcycles, and talking on HAM radio. He loved going to family gatherings. He was a member of Del View Baptist Church in Del City, OK.

He is preceded in death by his wife Kathleen (Kathy), wife Wanda Brandon, and wife Leila Loftin; brother Jimmy Keys (and wife Shirley); sisters Donna Williams and Hazel Lewie; step-daughter Diana Duty, and step-grandchild Angela Duty.

He is survived by his children Glenda Knapp, Stanley Keys, Steven Keys, and Anita Keys; step-son Daryl Brandon; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and many other family and friends.

A visitation for Billy will be held Tuesday, November 14, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 5005 SE 29th Street, Del City, OK 73115. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, November 15, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Arlington Memory Gardens, 3400 N Midwest Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73141.
