Billy Jack Howard

On Friday, October 22, 2021, Billy Jack Howard, loving husband and father of five children, passed away at the age of 85 at his home in Midwest City, Oklahoma, surrounded by his family. Bill was born to Marion and Pearl Howard on June 10, 1936, in Christie, Oklahoma. He graduated from Westville High School in 1954 and followed his love of learning in the field of electronics, in which he worked for 41 years, followed by 16 years in law enforcement.

On July 27, 1974, he married Diana Lee Howard, the love of his life, to whom he shared 47 incredible years. He had a busy life owning his own electronics business and raising two sons and three daughters. A man of few words, he enjoyed working with his hands, tackling new projects, and cooking delicious dinners. Bill was a true do-it-yourselfer with a passion for home improvement projects. He loved working with animals, gardening and spending time with his grandchildren. In addition, he had a strong faith and enjoyed attending church. His favorite songs were The Old Rugged Cross and The Rose.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Diana of Midwest City, children Bryan Howard of Mt. Lake Terrace, Washington, Rhonda Reid of Yukon, Oklahoma, Angela Schuster and husband Howard of Old Tappan, New Jersey, Brent Howard and wife Bonnie of Choctaw, Oklahoma, and Christina Dyer and husband John of Old Tappan, New Jersey. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren Trey, Amanda, Meagan, Jacob, Mikaela, Chad, Layla, and Emma and his brother Bob Howard and wife Rosita of Fate, Texas and many cousins, nephews, and nieces. He is predeceased by his father, Marion, his mother Pearl, his sisters Shirley and Winnie, and brother Ronnie.

A celebration of life will take place at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 29th. 2021, at the Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home SE Chapel.
