The kindest, most generous person I have ever known. Full of passion and wisdom. No one could bright up someone's day like this man could. I will never forget all the trips to the diner and all the times you picked me up from school. Or all the trips to Baskin Robbins. Or going to the corner store for Yoohoos and Milky Ways. No one ever had or ever will have my back like this man did.

Wonderful and generous guy. Jimmy- gave me an almost new white Cadillac convertible with just a few payments remaining. Sure Jamie, Christina and Louise have fond and fun memeories. I do.

Dear Ellen and DeLallas ... so sorry to hear about your Dad's passing.  One of the genuinely nicest, fun guys I've had the pleasure of knowing..Jamie, our summer in Lauderdale together working on the Condo's was one of my lifelong  highlights .. The Duke, Uncle Bobbie .. so much fun.

I Loved Mr.DeLalla:)  He made a spicy meatsauce that filled the house in Darien with love:) Love to Inga, Ellen, Christina, James (Jamie to me) & Louise:) You're a wonderful family and I think of you all fondly. Dapper photo of a dapper man.

Forever.....For Always......and No Matter What.   I miss you My Jimmy.

Jimmy has been an incredible neighbor and friend to Richard & I. Generations separated us but he spoke & treated us as if we were his brother & sister.  We will miss his words of encouragement & his strong faith in Jesus Christ. I know he is side by side with Jesus the carpenter designing & building rooms when we shall meet again.

Jimmy,  you were so ebullient, so full of life.  God bless your family, especially our Ellen.
