

After celebrating one final Valentine’s Day, Joseph Roselli, 92, of Deerfield Beach, FL, passed away early on Feb 15, 2024. He is survived by his beloved children, Patrick & Helen Roselli; granddaughter, Nikole Barbour; nephews, Robert, Richard, Paul and Michael; nieces, Donna and Deborah; and grand nephews and nieces.
Born in Newark, NJ on June 27, 1931, he is predeceased by his mother, Ida (Cusano) and father, Patsy Roselli; sister, Lucia Ilaria; brothers, Richard, Ralph, and Patsy Roselli; and nephew, Peter Ilaria.
Joseph was drafted as ALL CITY 2nd Baseman to the NY GIANTS AAA Professional Baseball Team before battling a career ending wrist injury. Without fail, Joseph always got back up quicker than it took him to realize he had ever been knocked down. Founded by his brother Richard, Joseph designed and implemented various exercise and sports programs for the organization DARE, Drug Addiction Rehabilitation Enterprise. The organization inevitably rehabilitated and saved countless lives by providing those plagued by substance abuse the necessary tools and treatments to combat their addictions. Successful in the automobile business as a salesman at DeMassi Cadillac in Nutley and Potamkin Cadillac in NYC. He also owned and operated used car lots with his brother Ralph. His last endeavor included a successful computer parts business with his son, Patrick.
A catholic vigil service for Joseph will be held Saturday, March 16, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Kraeer Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 1199 NE 36th Street, Pompano Beach, FL 33064, followed by a celebration of life from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
