James J Sweeney

James J. Sweeney of Hillsboro Beach, FL, formerly of Garden City, NY, passed away on March 27, 2016, at the age of 88. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Helen Francis Sweeney, and his four children: James S. Sweeney (Sharleen); Carol Wallace (John); Thomas J Sweeney (Peggie); and Tricia Flynn (Thomas). He is also survived by his eight grandchildren: Shannon and Colin Sweeney; Meredith Wallace, Owen and Fiona Sweeney; and Suzanne, Thomas and John Connor Flynn; and Patricia Fix and Al Fix, his sister-in-law and her husband. James practiced law for over 50 years as a member of the New York Bar. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. There will be a memorial mass at St. Ambrose, Deerfield Bch, on April 22 at 9:30am. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital would be appreciated.
