Allen H. Glick passed away peacefully in his home of Deerfield Beach, FL on Saturday, April 30, 2022. Allen was born to the late Aaron and Elva Glick of Lewistown, Pennsylvania on July 16, 1935. Allen grew up in Pennsylvania, served in the US Army, then moved to Florida to begin his career with Levitz Furniture. Through the years he inspired others as a mentor and friend. Allen retired at the age of 55 as the Sr. Vice President of the company. Allen was blessed with a large and loving family. Allen is survived by his sweetheart, Marlene Glick, of Deerfield Beach, his five children Lori (Pete); Jeff (Donna); Lynne, Aaron (Shelley); Allen, 9 grandchildren and extended family. Allen’s greatest passion was being with his family and spending time on the golf course. Allen was also a veteran of the US Army.
Visitation for Allen will be held Wednesday, May 4, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kraeer-Becker Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 217 E Hillsboro Blvd, Deerfield Beach, FL 33441. A committal service will occur Thursday, May 5, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Our Lady Queen of Heaven, 1500 S. State Rd. 7, N. Lauderdale, FL 33068.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Ukrainian cause WHO Health Emergency Appeal for Ukraine.
