Albert Vassallo, 87, of Boca Raton, FL, and formerly of Smithtown, NY, passed away on November 23, 2016. He was born Nov 30, 1928 in Brooklyn, NY. Albert was a US Navy Veteran of the Korean War and was involved with the Elks and Moose. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Geraldine; and survived by his devoted children, Albert, Ralph, James, Susan, Marie, and Jackie; and beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Mon, Nov 28 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Kraeer Funeral Home, 1199 E Sample Rd, Pompano Beach. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tues, Nov 29 at 9:30am at St Ambrose Catholic Church, Deerfield Beach. Military Honors will be rendered at Boca Raton Mausoleum following the Mass. Arrangements entrusted to Kraeer-Becker Funeral Home, Deerfield Beach.
