Philip Robert Scherer, 91, of North Babylon, NY, passed away on November 29, 2021. An avid hunter and outdoorsmen, he taught all of his friends to hunt and fish. Predeceased by his wife Phyllis and son Philip. Survived by his loving daughter Kim Therasse (Terry). Cherished grandpa to David (Maria) and Donielle (Byron). Devoted great-grandpa to Dylan, Genessee, Philyssa and Harper. Beloved brother to Lorraine Mack.
Visitation will be held at Claude R. Boyd-Caratozzolo Funeral Home, 1729 Deer Park Ave., Deer Park, NY 11729 on Wednesday from 2-4:30 PM & 7-9:30 PM. Funeral Mass Thursday at Ss. Cyril & Methodius R.C. Church. Interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery.
