Paul is survived by his son, Paul Jr. (Maria), daughters Irene Allison and Maryann Protass (Mitch), and grandchildren Christina Perillo and Blake Protass. Paul is also survived by his sister-in-law, Edith Perillo, beloved wife of Paul’s brother, the late Thomas Perillo.

On May 10, 1958, Paul married Antoinette. During their 63 years together and while raising their family, Paul enjoyed playing golf and indulging in Ann’s “Piatti Italiani Tradizionali e Rari” home cooked dishes. He was passionate about his classic Ford Thunderbird convertible and enjoyed cruising around town. There was no mistake that he lived his life just like his license plate reads: “Papa Byrd”. The mythology behind the Thunderbird is “a supernatural being of power, protection and strength”. This is how we will forever remember our beloved father, husband, brother, uncle, friend and humanitarian.
