NO ONE could make a baby stop crying faster nor with greater ease than Lillian C. Weingarten. It was almost as if, through a combination of her gentle touch, calming voice & knowing embrace – that the baby (no matter what the cause of their discomfort) could sense that EVERYTHING WAS GOING TO BE OK now that they were nestled in the arms of Lillian!
This nearly immediate connection that Lillian had with babies was truly an amazing gift… One that we have witnessed time & time again… with our own boys, as babies… and whenever there was a crying baby in the room, in need of her loving embrace. Lillian was always ready, willing & able to share her amazing gift – to the delight of bewildered (and grateful) parents everywhere.
One may wonder: How was this possible? What was her secret? We can only guess that it must have been her pure heart of love…  One that beat in unison with all that she met, and were lucky enough to know & feel her love! 
It is difficult (painful even) to imagine this world without our beloved (forever “Mom” & “Grandma”) Lillian… We can only reason that there must have been some crying babies in heaven – that even all the holy saints & gifted angels that parted before her  could not handle… so they asked God to send them someone with a special gift… someone with a pure heart of love… in order to finally offer the babies (and themselves , as well) some peace. >
So in this case, our loss is truly heaven's gain… May you “Rest in Peace” Lillian – and continued to offer both ‘Rest' & ‘Peace' to all of us – who will always carry a part of you in our hearts.

Another angel called to heaven.......you will be greatly missed Aunt Lillian.  We will miss your smile and your jokes, especially the dirty ones.....go and be with your Mom and Dad, Uncle Danny and all your brothers and sisters and have a party !!!   Until we meet again!!!!
