John D. McIntyre, "Mac" age 85, of Dix Hills, New York and retired Sergeant from the 1st Precinct, Suffolk County Police Department, passed away on Tuesday, April 6, 2021. Predeceased by his loving wife, Joan. Survived by his beloved children Michael McIntyre (Nancy), Donna Brown (Kevin), James McIntyre (Dorothy) and Linda Groark (James). Cherished by thirteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 8, 2021 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at Claude R. Boyd-Caratozzolo Funeral Home, 1785 Deer Park Ave, Deer Park, New York 11729. A mass of christian burial will occur at 9:45 AM Friday, April 9, 2021 at St. Matthew R.C. Church, 35 N Service Rd, Dix Hills, New York 11746. A private cremation will follow.
