Gerald Riopel

Gerald "Jerry" Riopel, age 64, of Bay Shore, New York passed away on Friday, April 11, 2025. Jerry grew up in West Islip, NY and had a passion for Hot rods. His pride and joy was his 1961 Mercury Comet. He loved to cruise around and show it off. He enjoyed his Sunday drives all around the Island and would attend many car shows throughout the years. Jerry also loved to fish and the Beach. He was a proud carpenter for many years and now may his hard-working hands rest. Beloved son of Eleanor and the late Walter Riopel. Jerry is also survived by his devoted children Renee Grace (Kevin) of Pompano Beach, FL & son Joseph of Margate, FL. He was predeceased by his namesake Gerald "Jerry" Riopel Jr. His loving grandchildren Jonathon Riopel, Lexi Lopez (Charley Crisci) and Haley Lopez. Cherished great grandchildren Leina, Hudson, Imani, Kamiyah, Liara & Xiomara. Jerry is also survived by his loving sisters Tracey Durdaller (Charlie) & Dawn Spencer (Jerry) & his loving Aunt Bobbi. He will be missed by many family members & Friends.
