Anthony J. Marsella

Anthony J. Marsella, age 86, of Deer Park, New York passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He took great pride in his family and his home, particularly his lawn and made his garden his "gym." He was a true New York sports fan, especially football and baseball and loved cheering on the Yankees. Anthony was an aircraft mechanic at T.W.A. at JFK and LaGuardia Airports which he retired from after over forty-three years of service. He loved to travel, and one of his favorite vacation destinations was "The Camelback Inn" in Scosttsdale, AZ. It was their home away from home. Italian music held a special place in his heart, especially the songs of Andrea Bocelli and Luciano Pavarotti, as well as Frank Sinatra and country music.

A visitation for Anthony will be held Sunday, January 9, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Claude R. Boyd-Caratozzolo Funeral Home, 1785 Deer Park Ave, Deer Park, New York 11729. A mass of christian burial will occur Monday, January 10, 2022 at 11:15 AM at Ss. Cyril & Methodius RC Church, Deer Park Ave, Deer Park, NY. Entombment will follow at St. Charles Cemetery, 2015 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, New York 11785.
