Angela was known for the bright and sparkly clothes she wore, her love for her neighbors, friends and family, and for her big, loud laugh. A "night owl", she could outlast everyone playing cards for hours, frequenting casinos on Long Island and in Atlantic City, or watching her favorite movies on TV. Angela C. Wilson, 90, of North Babylon died at home on April 12, 2025 after a six month battle with cancer.
Angela was predeceased by her beloved husband John ("Jack") to whom she was married for 63 years. After working for almost a decade with Decca Records, where she became enamored of musicians and movie stars. Angela & Jack moved to North Babylon. They loved their home and became lifelong friends with many of their neighbors, watching their kids grow up to have children of their own. Angela was active with the Suffolk County Homemakers, serving as the Treasurer for many years, and volunteered with the local Election Board. She and Jack loved to travel with friends within the US and abroad, including trips to Florida, Bermuda, Italy and Spain. Angela will be dearly missed by all the people she encountered in her long life. The family would like to thank Kindhearted Companions and Good Shepherd Hospice for the care they provided for Angela during her last illness.
