Sherry Paulette Sandy Taylor, 76 of Decatur, AL, passed away, October 15, 2022. Her visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, on Thursday, October 20, with her Celebration of Life beginning at 1:00pm at Cave Spring Baptist Church with Brandon Lewis officiating.
Paulette is survived by her husband, Roddy Taylor; sister, Freida Sandy Whitten Shaw (Bruce Shaw); children, Lisa Grapes (Jason Grapes), Bradley Styles (Ivey Styles) and Collette Taylor; daughter-in-law, Tracy McClellan; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Rebel Sandy and Paulene Hopkins Sandy; sisters Jennifer Chace and Geraldine McLemore and son, Terry McClellan.
Paulette is a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and Alabama Fan. She is a member of Cave Spring Baptist Church. She is from the class of 1964 at Decatur High School. She is loved by many and will be missed.
