Funeral service for Carolyn Terrell Driver, 84, of Decatur will be Saturday, February 5, 2011, at 2 p.m. in the Stephenson Chapel at First Baptist Church with Senior Adult Pastor Roger Jenkins officiating and Roselawn Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Cullman City Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until 2 p.m. at the church.
Mrs. Driver, who died Monday, January 31, 2011, at Madison Manor Nursing Home, was born November 1, 1926, in Lacey's Spring to the late Eugene and Gladys Terrell. She was Child Nutrition Secretary for Morgan County Schools. She had a strong interest in love for family, enjoyed doing for others and dearly loved First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Driver; and sister, Sue Parker.
She is survived by one daughter, Carol Driver Torello and son-in-law, Hal, of Madison; two sisters, Doris McCutcheon of Somerville and Jean Edmonson of Madison; three grandchildren, Allison Torello, Caroline Torello, Michael Torello, all of Madison; and 15 nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Dr. Mike and Johnston McCutcheon, Grant Warner, Don McCutcheon, Tim Parker and Michael Torello.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Senior Adult Ministry.
