Sara Elizabeth Morris, 84, of Decatur passed away on August 15, 2023, at home surrounded by her family. Mrs. Morris’ graveside service will be held at Roselawn Cemetery on Saturday, August 19th at 10:00 AM.
Sara was preceded in death by her parents Sardis and Bertha Shaddix and her daughter Lisa Beth Morris. She is survived by Howard, her husband of 63 years, son Dennis, daughter in law Kim, and grandchildren Jackson, Nicky, Peyton, and Kirsten.
Mrs. Morris was a teacher for 33 years teaching at Union Hill, Morgan County High School, and Decatur High School. She loved her time teaching and always enjoyed seeing former students. The roles in her life she excelled in were as a wife, mother, and grandmother.
