Rosa Elizabeth Bolan Fuller, 84, died Saturday, January 24, at her home in Trinity, AL, surrounded by her loving family. Born January 29, 1930, in Morgan Co., AL, to William O. and Eva L. Bolan, Mrs. Fuller was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, and was loved by everyone who knew her. She was a longtime member of Trinity Baptist Church, where she was active with the Young at Heart ministry, and loved to help with VBS and Awanas. Mrs. Fuller was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Johnie A. Fuller, Sr., one son, William I. Fuller, three brothers, MSGT Robert L. Bolan, U.S. Army, Connie C. Bolan, and Billy D. Bolan, one sister, Merle L. Bolan (infant), and one great granddaughter.
Mrs. Fuller is survived by two sons, Johnie (Jackie) A. Fuller, Jr. (Ruth) and Jerry S. Fuller (Diane), one daughter-in-law, Judy Fuller, two brothers, Willie E. Bolan (Sandy) and Rayborn O. Bolan (Kathy), eight grandchildren, Beckie Terry (Mickey), Doug Fuller (Sheila), Stephanie Cofield (Steve), Tara Tregle (TJ), Beth Adams (Randy), Shane Fuller (Brandy), Jennifer Broom (Michael), and Steven Fuller (Becky), thirteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held on Tuesday, January 27, at Roselawn Funeral Home, with Brother Steve Caudle and Pastor Richie Thompson officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 10:00am until 12:00pm, with the service immediately following. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery with grandsons serving as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Trinity Baptist Church Building Fund or Alacare Hospice.
The family wishes to extend a very special thanks to each of the following caregivers: Beckie Terry, Ruth Fuller, Kayla Terry, Mary Price, Louise Thomas, Yvette Hale, Donna Standridge, Bea Terry, and her awesome nurse, Carla Brantley. Without you, she would never have been able to spend her final days at home.
