Memorial service for Ronald Almon Bolio, 73, of Somerville will be Sunday, June 12, 2011, at 3 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Robert Sparkman officiating.
Mr. Bolio, who died Wednesday, June 8, 2011, at Huntsville Hospital, was born November 28, 1937, in Rochester, Vt., to Saywood and Amy Bolio. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was retired from Wyle Laboratories. Ron was devoted to his family, his country, and his work. He will be forever missed as a steady presence in the lives of those he loved and who loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Albert and Ralph Bolio; and his loving wife of 51 years, Louise Donna Bolio.
He is survived by one daughter, Rhonda Louise Bolio Fiske of Priceville; one son, Keith Brian Bolio of Trinity; and five grandchildren, Logan M. Fiske and Catherine W. Fiske, both of Priceville, Daniel T. Bolio and Gehrig T. Bolio, both of Hartselle, and Ashley G. Bolio of Decatur.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the American Heart Association .
