Aaron and I met Phillip, Chris, and Jonathan in May 2003.  Aaron and I had just married and moved into a townhouse two doors down.   Neighbors became friends and friends became family.  We spent many days and nights playing all sorts of games, sharing meals, trips, awesome conversations and just spending  quality time together.    We’re thankful for so many memories and honored and blessed to have known Phillip.  We are so thankful that Phillip is completely healed and no longer in pain where he is in the presence of our Heavenly Father for eternity.    We will all be reunited again one day.  

Rest In Peace. You will be missed.

I met Phillip and his wife Chris when I joined a bowling league. What was once a friendship turned us into family, went on many journeys over the years our wife’s couldn’t take us anywhere :) Spent many years at family gatherings at his home. A man with a ruff exterior but (has) a heart of gold, I will truly miss our Saturday Bama games brother. This is not goodbye we will see you again, you are loved by many. R.I.P. Brother 🙏🏼

Ever since Rita and I have been married it was truly a God sent to have Phillip as our Brother-In-Law.  Under all the facade of being a macho man, he had a heart of love and giving.   He had a great love for his wife Chris and family.  If you ever went to their house, he made you feel at home.    He was the great Grillmeister for the family cook outs.    He loved the University of Alabama football team.  Most of all he loved Jesus Christ.   He experienced great physical pain in life. Even though he was hurting, he would still focus on entertaining and caring for you.  Phillip is with Jesus Christ in Heaven.  No more pain or sorrow.  You will truly be missed our friend.   Our love and prayers go out to you sis and family.  


I have known Phillip and his family for several years, first met him and Chris at the bowling alley when I bowled on the same league. He was always such a character,  laughing, joking around and just having fun, he would do anything in the world for you if you needed him and I was always happy to  help him with computer problems when he needed me. Phillip, Chris and the whole family always welcomed me in as part of the family, we had so much fun watching Alabama football, having cook outs, went on a cruise together, to Ruby falls. You are going to be truly missed, it breaks my heart to know you are gone, our last conversation was only a couple weeks or so ago and I told you that I love yall and if you needed anything to let me know and you said you love me too...I will keep that conversation and cherish it.  My thoughts and prayers are with the family, I love you all.

I ran into you at Walmart and I thought, man he looks like Jonathan aka Bigg Wazzy. So I tracked you down and sure enough you are his Daddy. We talked a bit, you and your wife and I told you who I was and I was already praying for you. You had such a good sense of humor for everything you were going through. Fly High Wazzy's Daddy! You will never be forgotten.

I first met Phillip on my first date with his best friend Farrel. We went to 6 Pocket Billiards to shoot pool. He was funny and a really good guy. I knew him and his wife Chris for over 2 years. They made me feel welcome every time I went to their home. They made feel  like part of the family... I grew to love them both and his mother Pat. I will miss him dearly. Go fly high on that mountain my friend where you will no longer be in pain and will eternally be Happy. May you Rest In Peace. 



Phillip man I'll never forget working with you for 12 years and then we remained friends from there on I remember all the good times we had going out I will never forget you brother but one day we will meet agin
